Meanwhile, Hannover have completed the signing of American winger DaMarcus Beasley following his exit from Rangers. Beasley, who left Rangers at the end of last season, has signed a two-year contract with the Bundesliga club after an injury-plagued spell in Scotland.
Hannover coach Mirko Slomka was pleased to have snapped up the 28-year-old. He said: "DaMarcus brings with him great international experience, and can help give us that extra push in the Bundesliga."
Beasley, who will link up with international team-mate Steve Cherundolo at Hannover, said:
"It will be great to play for the same domestic team as Steve."
