’Royston secure fine draw
First Division side Craigroyston came from behind twice to claim a 2-2 draw and deny Stirling University their fourth consecutive win this season.
The result leaves the Stirling side top of their League Cup qualifying group but they will feel they could have had all three points after establishing a one goal lead in the first half and passing up on several opportunities shortly after.

Geddes had another good chance, but James Dale should really have doubled the East of Scotland champions’ lead when the ball fell to him just a few yards from goal. The midfielder blazed over the bar however.
Craigroyston’s Ritchie equalised after the break when the University failed to clear a corner but the home side were back on top when Geddes struck again in the 75th minute, this time rounding the keeper to tap into an empty net.
The second leveller came ten minutes later when striker Chris Gordon slammed home a spectacular volley from 25 yards and, with no further chances for Stirling, it earned a draw.
