Steve Clarke’s side will host Franco Foda's men on Thursday March 25 2021 before travelling to face Israel in Jerusalem, Haifa, or Beersheba in the second qualifier on Sunday March 28.
The Faroe Islands will then travel to Glasgow for the third matchday on Wednesday March 31.

Hide AdThe Scots will begin the second batch of qualifiers with an away game against Denmark, likely to be played at Copenhagen’s Parken Stadium on Wednesday September 1, before welcoming Moldova on Saturday September 4, and most probably taking on Austria at the Ernst-Happel-Stadion in Vienna on Tuesday September 7.
The penultimate round sees the Scots host Israel on Saturday October 9 before travelling to the Faroes on Tuesday October 12. That fixture will likely be played at Tórsvøllur, making a return trip to Svangaskarð for the Tartan Army unlikely.
Moldova v Scotland is scheduled for Friday November 12 and will almost certainly be played at Zimbru Chișinău’s Stadionul Zimbru, before a home game against the Danes on Monday November 15 rounds off the qualifying campaign.
