Hearts: Your Say

Carol Newman, Liberton: "It was always going to be a very tough game for us with Rangers going for the league but we made things really difficult by not playing the way that we know that we are capable of.

"I felt that we gave the ball away a lot in the midfield with slack passes and, too often, we chose the wrong pass when we got the ball into a dangerous area. Despite us not being anywhere near our best, I felt that we were doing ok defensively and the Rangers fans were starting to get a bit restless at half-time. "The longer it stayed 0-0, the more chance we had of hitting them on the break as they pushed for a winner but, unfortunately, we conceded early in the second half and we couldn't get back into it. The loss of the second goal didn't make much difference because I don't think we'd have equalised anyway but the sending off of Eggert Jonsson could prove to be an expensive one with big games ahead.

"The game against Motherwell could be make or break in the race for a Europa League place."
