Adam is in the driving seat at the Nurburgring
Adam, partnered by Andrew Howard in the Beechdean Racing Aston, was like a man possessed over the closing laps. The Scot was reeling the Nissan GT-R of leaders Jann Mardenborough and Alex Buncombe in at more than a second a lap. But before he could catch Buncombe, the Nissan received a drive-through penalty for not remaining stationary long enough at their mandatory pitstop.
Adam finished 16.305secs ahead of the Porsche GT3 R of Danielle Perfetti and Michael Caine, with Buncombe finishing third. The BMW Z4 GT3 of Edinburgh’s Ecurie Ecosse, driven by Alasdair McCaig and Oliver Bryant, was fifth.
