Warrant for man accused of abusing Labour member
A warrant has been granted for a former SNP member charged with protesting at the Scottish Labour headquarters in Glasgow on the day that former leader Jim Murphy announced his
resignation.
Piers Brown, 55, and co-accused Sean Clerkin, 54, are accused of “behaving in a threatening or abusive manner” on May 16 this year.
A warrant was granted for Brown after Glasgow Sheriff Court heard he could not be traced.

Hide AdClerkin, from Barrhead, pled not guilty and a trial was set for July next year.
It is alleged they used abusive language towards Labour member Susan Dalgety and “gesticulated aggressively”.
It is claimed they told her they knew her name and entered the Labour offices in the city centre uninvited and “continued to shout and use abusive language”.
