The BBC have unveiled their broadcast plans for this summer's tournament and they're sure to please football fanatics. Supporters will be transported to hospitality seats at some of the tournament's biggest games as the BBC utilise cutting-edge VR technology. Users will be transported to a fully-immersive stadium expeirence through VR headsets or smartphones. It's a great opportunity to get the full World Cup experience from the comfort of your own home. Here's full details of the offering and how you can access it for FREE: How does it work? It's fairly simple to access this VR content - you'll just need a smartphone or VR headset. Closer to the tournament, you'll then need to download BBC Sport's VR 2018 World Cup app - which is still to be released. It will be available on iOS and Android devices, as well as the Gear VR, Oculus Go and PlayStation VR headsets. Once you've downloaded the app, you'll be able to pick from one of two views at the stadiums. Matches will be able to viewed as if from a 'luxury private box' or from behind either of the two goals.
