Girl freed from life of slavery
AUTHORITIES in Bosnia have released a young German woman from 11 years of slavery.
Identified as Betina Siger, 19, her detainment, ended when neighbours called police to complain of her treatment.
One man, Sead Makalic, had taken photos on his mobile phone of Betina being whipped and showed them to police.

Hide AdMilenko Marinkovic, 52, and his wife Slavojka, 45, were detained on suspicion of “illegal imprisonment in a particularly cruel way”.
Neighbours say they made the girl drag a farm cart while she was whipped and that she was forced to sleep in the pigsty.
