Stranded trio rescued after canoe capsize
A member of the public raised the alarm around 6.50pm on Saturday after they saw the stranded group clinging to the open topped canoe without life jackets.
The Fisherrow Safety Boat rescued the trio a quarter of a mile from the coast, and they were checked by paramedics.

Hide AdA spokesman for Forth Coastguard said: "A member of the public had spotted them holding on to a capsized canoe, one of these open top Canadian-style canoes, and was concerned because they didn't appear to have life jackets on.
"We launched the Kinghorn lifeboat and police and ambulance were alerted. The Fisherrow Safety Boat was already nearby and picked up the canoeists and brought them to the shore where the paramedics checked them over.
"They were just very cold and perhaps slightly embarrassed about not wearing life jackets."
