Independence poll: Majority in north-east back Yes
A NEW poll has revealed the majority of people in the north-east of Scotland support independence.
The survey by Survation shows 43.5 per cent of people in the region would vote Ye if the referendum was held now, while 38.3 per cent said No.
The support for independence has grown by five per cent since the company did a poll last month.

Hide AdThe survey then showed 38.2 per cent in favour of independence, with 41.8 per cent against.
However, the sample sizes of the survey which looked at regional breakdowns were quite tiny, with 138 polled in the north-east.
