Confused by sects
Paul and the disciples disagreed strongly on the subject. Then the individual churches did so until Constantine forced them to come together. Ever since, continual disagreements have characterised the religion.
Some branches do not consider other ones to be “real Christians”. Now even the “mainstream” denominations are racked by internal conflict over moral issues. Many professing “Christians”, including present and past prime ministers, support the use of weapons of mass destruction and want Trident replaced. Others strongly disagree.
