Messages were ‘vulgar and abusive’
Andrew Sanders repeatedly referred to his former partner as a “dirty slag” and told her he did not want anything to do with her.
Julia McLaren, prosecuting, read out several of the texts at Livingston Sheriff Court when Sanders 30, of Fauldhouse, West Lothian, appeared yesterday.

Hide AdHe pled guilty to breaching bail by contacting his ex-partner on fRIDAY and to sending her a number of “grossly offensive” text messages from his home.
Sheriff Graeme Fleming QC said the texts did not strike him as menacing.
However, he added: “They may be vulgar abuse.”
He continued the case for social work reports, and said it was with reluctance that he was releasing Sanders on bail.
