Clydebank incident: manhunt launched after 22-year-old stabbed in attempted murder
The victim of the brutal assault was chased from Ottawa Crescent in Clydebank to nearby A814, Dumbarton Road, where he was stabbed by another man at about 1.45am on Thursday.
He suffered a severe chest injury and remains in hospital in a serious, but stable condition.

Hide AdOfficers are now on the hunt for the suspect, who was dressed in all black at the time of the attack.
The two men involved in the incident had been standing in a group of about 12 people outside a property in Ottawa Crescent just before the savage attack happened.
Police are appealing to members of the public to come forward if they have any information on the incident that might help them in their investigations.
Detective Sergeant Bruce Fyfe, of Clydebank CID, said: "We are treating this as an attempted murder and we're appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident to contact us.
"The victim was wearing a red jacket and despite the time of the incident, the disturbance outside the flat might have attracted attention with other residents as well as drivers on the A814.
"This type of violence shouldn't be tolerated in the community so we would encourage people with any information to let us know."
A police spokeswoman said: “Anyone with information should contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number 0154 of 29 October 2020 or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
